When you don’t need MPLS

SASE Secure Access Service Edge

I spoke with an IT manager at a five location business last week.  They are presently networked to the HQ with a frame relay network.  They received a quotation from AT&T, their local provider and wanted to do a “sanity check” of the pricing that their rep provided.

After a series of probing questions, I learned that one of the sites has no need to even connect to the HQ office.  This location has two people who are mostly on the road.  They only need email.  Did the sales rep ask these questions?  Can the use DSL for $80?  Can they save some real money?

While this is a trivial example for some companies, in this economy, the savings matter to this one.  This is why using SD-WAN-Experts saves companies money.
